Iberdrola Results Q3 2018

Iberdrola reported €2.09 billion net profit for the nine months to the end of September, 13.5% below the same period last year. This result was impacted by lower extraordinary income in the period (which in 2017 amounted to €759 million) and the worsening performance of Generation and Supply in Spain, in marked contrast with the positive business results elsewhere.

East Anglia ONE Offshore Substation Installed

The offshore substation for ScottishPower Renewables’ East Anglia ONE windfarm has successfully been installed in the southern North Sea, some 59 km from the coast of Lowestoft.


ScottishPower to Increase Standard Variable Prices

ScottishPower will increase its standard variable domestic gas and electricity prices from 8th October 2018. For those affected, dual fuel prices will increase by an average of 3.7%. Less than one-third of homes supplied by ScottishPower (approximately 0.9m) will be affected. The other two-thirds of homes are on tariffs or payment methods not impacted by this price change.
