Our applications for 2026-27 is now open

ScottishPower will provide scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year for postgraduate studies at universities in the United Kingdom in the following areas of knowledge:

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals looking to transform the energy industry through their studies in the following areas:

  • Electrical / Mechanical / Civil / Electronic Engineering
  • Data / Cyber / Cyber Security / Telecoms / Business Analytics / Cloud Computing/ AI

In addition, we provide:

  • Payment of university tuition fees 
  • A monthly bursary of £1,200  
  • A company mentor who can assist with industry related academic projects 
  • Exciting career prospects

In return, we would like scholars to:

  • Promote this programme and our wider career opportunities by supporting our recruitment activities 
  • Be a STEM ambassador for the industry
