ScottishPower Comment: Response to DECC Discussion Document

Neil Clitheroe, CEO ScottishPower Retail & Generation said; "We fully support initiatives that are designed to help simplify tariffs and give customers greater understanding about their energy account. However, we remain concerned that restricting competition will not be in the long-term interests of consumers. We will carefully analyse the proposals put forward today and we look forward to providing our thoughts on the likely benefits or disadvantages for consumers during the consultation period."
