ScottishPower wins at Customer Service Awards
Two of ScottishPower’s businesses were recognised at the Institute of Customer Service Awards this week with its SP Electricity North West Chief Operating Officer, Stephanie Trubshaw, scooping the prestigious Customer Service Strategic Leadership Award.
Stephanie has been SP Electricity North West COO for eight months having previously been customer director at the electricity network operator. The Institute selected her on account of her exceptional leadership in customer-focused strategies which shaped the overall performance of the business.
SP Electricity North West also secured the Employee Engagement Strategy Award, which recognised the firm’s innovative approach in its response to severe weather and resilience. To enhance the service it provides, all colleagues within the business play an active role in supporting customers via welfare management, inbound and outbound calls and door knocking during storms.
Stephanie said: “It is a real honour to be recognised for the essential service that we provide to customers throughout the North West.
“Customers are at the heart of what we do in providing a service to support the region’s continued growth. That means providing the support they need to meet their energy needs and continue to invest efficiently so our part of energy bills are kept low and people continue to receive a fantastic value for money service.
“I want to highlight and praise the dedication of my colleagues who work every day to support customers with commitment and care, ensuring they always receive the best service possible.

ScottishPower’s customer business was also nominated in the Best Customer Satisfaction Strategy and Customer Focus Large Enterprise categories. The categories recognise the hard work undertaken by businesses across the country and the work they have been doing to improve and excel in customer service.
