Central Scotland-based contractor Forsyth of Denny helped deliver the successful repowering of Scotland’s first commercial windfarm, Hagshaw Hill.
The project not only delivered a larger, more efficient windfarm, able to deliver clean power for the next two decades and beyond but also supported local jobs and an economic boost for a key supply chain partner.
Building on a longstanding relationship with ScottishPower, the company, winner of ScottishPower's Supplier of the Year Award 2024, brought specialist expertise in turbine dismantling, heavy lifting and transport to support the transformation of one of Scotland's pioneering windfarms into a more powerful, efficient renewable energy asset.
