Chairman Ignacio Galán meets with Scotland’s First Minister

Iberdrola has committed to investing 20,000 million euros (60 per cent of its total investment in the UK) in Scotland’s electricity transmission and distribution networks over the next eight years.  

The company’s ambition for the coming years will increase the grid’s capacity to accommodate new electricity demand and deliver industrialisation and economic growth.

We are undertaking a record rewiring of the grid to reduce constrains, integrate new renewable capacity, unlock new industry and drive forward electrification.
