Growing Well in our community’s enterprise, land skills and nature recovery

The Growing Well project will complement the charity’s therapeutic offer and boost entrepreneurial activity through a pioneering native tree propagation scheme that will involve  established beneficiary cohorts, engage the wider community, deliver a minimum of 20,000 native broad leaf species saplings each year, and contribute to at least one, high profile, significant scale native tree planting programme in Cumbria.

Marine Conservation Society

Turning the tide on plastic pollution in Scotland

The project will respond to critical needs across Scotland to clean up our beaches, protect ocean wildlife and support communities to collaborate for conservation. Together, we will steward marine litter evidence from beach to benches in Holyrood, driving action on pollution.

Ocean Generation

Building a Digital Home for the Ocean Academy

Ocean Academy brings the Ocean to the classroom for 5-16-year-olds. This single, interactive learning destination equips educators, parents, and children with UNESCO-endorsed Ocean education, immersing them in learning about the Ocean, its threats, and how we can protect it. Currently as workshops in-person or online, they charity will fully digitalise the platform, making it accessible for all.

Wild Ground

Nature on the doorstep

The project will provide weekly opportunities for volunteers to gain conservation skills, create opportunities for the public to engage with the natural environment on their doorsteps through events, and support children’s learning about climate and biodiversity, whilst also improving habitats for important species in North East Wales including great crested newts, badgers and bats.
