iCAN aims to encourage, create, and promote authentic leadership for climate action in both the professional and personal lives of all ScottishPower employees.
We are a network of dedicated people, with a passion for sharing climate action awareness and empowerment with our colleagues and society at large. We are working together with ScottishPower, as a channel for employees to feedback their views on business activities that have environmental impact, and as a hive of bright thinkers, ready to take on the climate challenges and opportunities facing ScottishPower - from decarbonisation strategies to business readiness.

“I got involved in founding the employee climate network, iCAN, because I am passionate about stemming the wrongdoings against nature and natural resources, and I believe that each of us can play our part to give back more than we take. I felt if I met likeminded people I would learn more, be inspired to do more, and maybe even inspire others. One of the network’s objectives is to be involved in and support business-led initiatives that will make ScottishPower one of the leading Green Recovery companies. It’s inspiring. I feel part of an engaged group of people who are helping themselves and others tackle climate related challenges head on.”
