ScottishPower has achieved the best score of the Big 6 energy companies in Which? magazine’s second investigation into energy industry telesales practices. Published this week, the company topped the performance league table with a score of 92%.
The investigation considered whether callers were always offered the cheapest tariff available, told about exit fees or whether they didn’t apply and whether calls were answered within two minutes.
Commenting on the Which? magazine investigation, Neil Clitheroe, ScottishPower’s CEO of Energy Retail and Generation, said: “We are pleased to have significantly improved our score since the last Which? investigation, and are happy to have topped the performance table. We have invested heavily in training to improve the skills of our call centre people to ensure that customers receive the highest possible levels of service. Our customers are our top priority and we always seek to be as helpful and informative as possible when talking to them. We are committed to continuing the task of improving customer experience across all areas of our business.”
