Speaking Out Channel

ScottishPower, a part of the Iberdrola Group, aims to create an environment of transparency and promote respect for the law and the rules of conduct as established in the ScottishPower Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Rules.

To this end, ScottishPower has implemented an Internal Reporting and Whistleblower Protection System  (the Internal Reporting System) which includes a range of contact routes to enable employees, suppliers, customers, stakeholders, or other third parties to raise any concerns about illegal, unethical or wrongful conduct, related to ScottishPower. The Internal Reporting System is built around the following key principles:

Non-Retaliation

ScottishPower does not tolerate any form of retaliation against any person who has made a complaint in good faith.

Confidentiality

The confidentiality of the identity of the reporter, any third party mentioned in the report, as well as the protection of personal data, is of utmost importance.

Anonymity

Communications can be made anonymously, using the Whistleblower Channel form below. If you do choose to report anonymously, please provide as much information as you can, including names, dates, and any supporting documentation. We may be unable to fully investigate if there is not enough specific information provided.
We would encourage you to choose the option to set up an anonymous communication channel to allow for follow up on your claim. Further detail is provided in the form below. Please make sure that you take a note of the code to access this channel and keep it safe, as you will be unable to engage with us further if you do not keep this information.

System Management

The ScottishPower Compliance Unit is responsible for managing the Internal Reporting System and has established procedures to ensure that this is done confidentially, consistently and fairly.

Rights of affected persons

Throughout the investigation or management of a claim, we guarantee the right to privacy, the right to a defence and the presumption of innocence of the persons investigated or affected.

How to Report

Reports may be sent in writing through the form on this website, by post (for the attention of the compliance team – ScottishPower HQ, 320 St Vincent Street, G2 5AD.) or by any other means.
