Within SP Energy Networks, we are focusing on harnessing technology and innovation to create the networks of the future. What you’ll be doing

As a Business Management Graduate Apprentice within SP Energy Networks, you will gain hands-on experience supporting key business functions such as project coordination, resource planning, and performance analysis. You will work alongside experienced teams to develop skills in financial management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic decision-making, contributing to initiatives that ensure the efficient delivery of energy services. This role combines academic learning with practical application, preparing you for future leadership positions in a dynamic and evolving industry.

Business Areas: You could be working in one of the following departments and functions within our organisation:

  • The Cyber delivery team
  • The Commercial & Performance team

Project Assignments: these can include work on specific projects or initiatives within your department or across different departments.  These projects can involve conducting market research, analysing data, developing business strategies or implementing process improvements.

Networking and Relationship Building: you will have opportunities to network with colleagues, senior management, stakeholders and professionals from other organisations. Building relationships and expanding your professional network will be valuable for future career growth and opportunities within SP Energy Networks.

Leadership Development: the programme will include workshops, training sessions and mentorship opportunities. These activities aim to enhance your leadership skills, communication abilities and problem-solving capabilities.

On this programme you will have the opportunity for hybrid working with your time split between home, site and office, depending on the projects that you are supporting.  In addition, travel to different offices and sites within your business may be required a few times each month.

What you’ll bring
