ScottishPower Energy Retail enjoyed a hugely successful evening at the ninth annual International IQPC Process Excellence Awards in London last night (Thursday 17 April), winning three out of the seven award categories.
The awards, sponsored this year by Fujitsu and Accenture, are regarded as the foremost accolade in the business improvement world.
The hat-trick of awards scooped by ScottishPower Energy Retail were:
- Best Design for Six Sigma Project - Final Debt Reduction
- Best Project Contributing to Innovation - Long Term Vacants
- Best Improvement Programme - Energy Retail Business Transformation
All finalists were interviewed by a judging panel consisting of excellence experts, and had to demonstrate that their projects had been delivered to the highest standards.
Willie MacDiarmid, Director of Energy Retail at ScottishPower, said: “Winning three awards is a fantastic achievement. The judges were impressed with the practical application of our skills and the passion of our people in influencing change in our organisation.
“I would like to thank everyone in ScottishPower Energy Retail who has played a part in our business transformation programme and projects over the last seven years - winning three awards is a tremendous testament to our knowledge, energy and passion for delivering change.”
