About You

There are a few things we are hoping to find out about you ahead of you applying for the Power Engineering Apprenticeship here at ScottishPower. For one, you should be ambitious and flexible, with the ability to work at heights and within confined spaces.

You will need at least two A-Levels at grade A-C or Highers 1-3 (one being Maths). We will also consider the BTEC Electronic & Electrical Engineering at Level 3 or National Certificate SCQF Level 6 in Electronic & Electrical Engineering.

In addition, you will need to have achieved the following qualifications:

  • Mathematics and Science at National 5, GCSE (A-C) or equivalent
  • English at National 4, GCSE (A-C) or equivalent

You’ll need to be a highly-motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. You should also be a good problem solver and confident decision maker.
