The Finance team are responsible for the preparation of external and internal financial statements and reports for the ScottishPower group.
Our mission is to protect shareholder interests and be a key economic collaborator and business partner. Our key activities are financial accounting, monthly performance reporting, budgeting, planning and investment analysis.

The Purchasing team aim to provide a competitive advantage and cost reduction in the acquisition of goods, works and services through the professional management of purchasing and supply chain activities including the management of suppliers and the negotiation of standard, low/medium complexity contracts; typically, but not limited to, those with a value less than £5m and associated commercial issues.
You will work closely with the business to support the development, construction or operation of recurring standard infrastructure projects, assets, systems and services by understanding business drivers and market dynamics.
This role requires individuals with a Supply chain, Numerical, Statistical or Business with Finance / Accountancy / Economics related degree.
Health & Safety
Our Health & Safety Team works in partnership with our businesses to deliver the highest levels of safety performance and provide excellent standards of occupational health and welfare within the workplace.
We operate daily in a safety critical environment, HV power transmission, HV & LV distribution networks, power generation and customer electricity supply.
We are looking for a committed, enthusiastic Graduate in either Electrical Engineering, Occupational Health or Health & Safety Management, who has a keen interest in workplace H&S and/or process safety to join our team and to contribute in achieving world-class performance in this area.
The successful applicant will experience a wide variety of working environments and learn and be challenged by a range of power generation and distribution technologies. In addition they will become familiar with large scale construction activities delivered by both internal resources and contractor organisations. The job holder will participate in key H&S management processes such as risk management, operational compliance assurance and behavioural safety etc.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and inter-personal skills, someone who is articulate and engaging, with a positive and constructive attitude to working as a member of a team and contributing in a constructive manner.
This role requires an Electrical Engineering, Occupational Health or in Health & Safety Management degree.
