We’ll certainly endeavour to match your preferences, but your skills, ambitions and our business needs may dictate where and what part of our business you’ll be located in.

Are existing employees eligible to apply?

Yes. We accept applications from all candidates who meet our minimum educational requirements. In line with ScottishPower’s recruitment policy, please advise your line manager of your intentions.

What provisions do you make for people with a disability?

If you require assistance with your application, please call 0845 601 3170 or email to arrange to have your form completed.

If you require adjustments to take part in our selection process, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate your needs. If you’re successful in the selection process, we’ll then discuss with you what adjustments, if any, would need to be made.

If I apply but don’t hear back - what should I do?

When you apply you'll receive an automated response to confirm that your application has been submitted. It may then take us a little time to review your application. However, if you don’t hear anything from us within three weeks, please email us at

Do you have any specific information on the placements I’ll complete as part of the programme?
