ScottishPower’s employee network, In-Fuse, has been named LGBTQIA+ Network of the Year at the European Diversity Awards.

The awards, launched 16 years ago, are one of Europe's most respected recognition events for organisations and individuals championing diversity, inclusion and equality.
The judges recognised In-Fuse’s outstanding work in creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering community where everyone can truly be themselves.
Founded by staff and led by staff, In-Fuse is one of seven employee networks at ScottishPower; each one founded and led by passionate employees with full support from the business.
They host awareness events, influence inclusive policy changes, and represent the company at nationwide events such as Pride.
Keith Anderson, ScottishPower Chief Executive, said: “Our Networks bring people together to share experiences, build connections, and strengthen our inclusive culture. They help us grow as a company, attract diverse talent, and create a successful workplace where everyone can thrive.
“I’m incredibly proud to see In-Fuse honoured with this award and it’s great to see the hard work, dedication and personal commitment of those behind the network being recognised at the highest level.”
Stephanie Todd, Chairperson of In-Fuse, added: “This recognition is a testament to the efforts of every member, every ally, and our leadership team who champion our vision and ensure everyone feels welcome, valued and celebrated in the workplace.”
In-Fuse’s win highlights ScottishPower’s commitment to fostering a working environment where authenticity and belonging are at the heart of its culture.
A special mention was also given to ScottishPower’s Connected Women network, which was highly commended in the Outstanding Women’s Network category for its work promoting gender equality.
