ScottishPower announces that on 14 September 2004 its PacifiCorp subsidiary was awarded $9.25 million by the Wyoming Public Service Commission related to increased net wholesale purchased power costs following a settlement to PacifiCorp's pass on application.

PacifiCorp's pass-on application, filed in July 2004, requested a rate increase to recover net wholesale purchased power cost increases going forward, which are not currently being recovered by PacifiCorp in customer rates. The pass-on increase becomes effective 15 September and will remain in effect until changed by the WPSC in some subsequent case.
