ScottishPower On The Road With Talking Jobs Initative

Anyone interested in working in a call centre can this week find out by visiting the ScottishPower sponsored Talking Jobs Roadshow. Visitors can speak to team members from the company's call centre, try on the headsets and use one of their workstations. The roadshow will visit five different locations around the Glasgow area between 10am and 4pm at the following locations:
Tuesday 8 September Job Centre, Bath Street
Wednesday 9 September Job Centre, Shawlands
Thursday 10 September Mitchell Arcade, Rutherglen
Friday 11 September Central Station, Glasgow
Saturday 12 September Sauchiehall Street Shopping Centre
Talking Jobs is an initiative by The Glasgow Development Agency and Call Centre operators, which was launched today, Monday 7 September. The campaign has so far informed more than 3,000 people about work in a call centre and secured Call Centre jobs for approximately 800 people. The initiative continues to maintain the city's reputation as the Call Centre Capital of the UK.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to pick up information packs and if interested call the ScottishPower Recruitment Hotline on 0845 3000795. The Hotline will be open between 8.30am and 5pm and will also have an answering service, all calls are charged at a standard local rate.
ScottishPower are one of the largest call centre employers in Scotland and offer potential employees attractive terms and conditions.
