ScottishPower announced today the appointment of Paul Pagliari to the post of Group Human Resources Director. Paul will join the Company on 11 January 1999.

Paul, currently Director of Human Resources at Marconi Communications, part of the GEC group, brings with him extensive experience in human resource management. Prior to his current post, he was involved in the development of human resources strategy at BT and established his employee relations credentials at the Ford Motor Company, having joined as a graduate entrant.

Commenting on the appointment, ScottishPower Chief Executive Ian Robinson said:
