ScottishPower today (26 June 2007) announced that it has joined the ENDEX European Energy Derivatives Exchange in order to trade Natural Gas at the Title Transfer Facility (TTF) Trading Hub in the Netherlands. The volume and value of trades at the Dutch hub have increased steadily since it was founded in 2004 and it is now considered one of the key traded gas markets in Europe.

Ewan Stott, Gas Trading Manager at ScottishPower, a subsidiary of Spain’s Iberdrola, said: “We are delighted to have joined ENDEX which we see as a significant step forward to increasing the company's interests in the Continental Gas Market.”

ENDEX now has 35 trading members and seven clearing members.
