ScottishPower's PacifiCorp Granted Recovery in Oregon Rate Case

ScottishPower announces that on 27 August, the Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) announced the granting of approximately $8.5 million of additional annual revenues to its subsidiary PacifiCorp following an all-parties settlement to the general rate case. In addition, PacifiCorp has been awarded a one-off amount of $12 million for 2004 by early removal of a merger credit to customers following the delivery of transition plan commitments. The company is also being allowed to implement the new rates by 1 September 2003, approximately five months earlier than scheduled, resulting in a $5 million benefit in the current fiscal year.

ScottishPower Agrees Major Contract with Clydeport

ScottishPower's Subsidiary PacifiCorp Files General Rate Case Request in Oregon

In line with its planned US regulatory strategy, ScottishPower announces that on 18 March 2003 that its PacifiCorp subsidiary filed a general rate case (GRC) request with the Oregon Public Utility Commission for approximately $58 million related to increased general costs, which include insurance, employee and retiree costs and other expenses.

ScottishPower Announces Proposals for Third Large-Scale Scottish Windfarm

ScottishPower has unveiled plans to build a third large-scale windfarm in Scotland - at Harestanes and Ae Forest, near Moffat in Dumfries and Galloway. The project will be of a similar scale to the proposed windfarm at Whitelee Forest, and could accommodate up to 180 turbines and generate enough clean electricity to power 250,000 homes.
