ScottishPower announces that the dividend for the second quarter ended 30 September 2002 is 7.177 pence per ordinary share. The dividend will be payable on 16 December 2002 to shareholders on the register on 15 November 2002.

The dividend rate per American Depositary Share (ADS) is $0.4479. The ADS dividend will be paid on 16 December 2002 to ADS holders of record on 15 November 2002.
