On 10 February 2005, ScottishPower announced in the Company's third quarter results that the dividend for the quarter ended 31 December 2004 was 4.95 pence per ordinary share.  The dividend will be payable on 29 March 2005 to shareholders on the register on 18 February 2005.

This is to confirm that the dividend rate per American Depositary Share ("ADS") is $0.3676.  The ADS dividend will be paid on 29 March 2005 to ADS holders of record on 18 February 2005.
