• ScottishPower Accepts Ofgem Price Control Proposals 24 December 2004 ScottishPower has accepted Ofgem's Final Proposals of 29th November in respect of the Electricity Distribution Price Control Review, as applicable to its distribution businesses, SP Distribution and SP Manweb, subject to these proposals being fully reflected in licence modifications. The new price controls will run for five years from 1st April 2005.
• ScottishPower Organisational Announcement 17 December 2004 In a move designed to further improve the operational performance at PacifiCorp, ScottishPower announced today that, with effect from 1 January 2005, Ronnie Mercer, currently Group Director, Infrastructure Division, will be appointed Executive Vice President, Operations, PacifiCorp.
• ScottishPower's PPM to Build 150 MW Windfarm 14 December 2004 ScottishPower today announced that its US competitive subsidiary, PPM Energy (PPM), plans to build a new 150 MW windfarm in Kansas.
• ScottishPower Welcomes Judicial Go-Ahead for Gas Storage Facility 9 December 2004 ScottishPower today welcomed the High Court's decision on planning permission for a £100m underground natural gas storage facility at Byley, Cheshire.
• ScottishPower's PacifiCorp files rate case request in Oregon for $102 million 12 November 2004 ScottishPower announces that on 12 November 2004 its US regulated subsidiary, PacifiCorp, filed a general rate case request with the Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) for approximately $102 million.
• 2004/05 Half Year Results including Second Quarter to 30 September 2004 10 November 2004 Overall the group has delivered a good set of results for the first half of the year.
• ADS Dividend Announcement - Second Quarter 2004/05 10 November 2004 On 10 November 2004, ScottishPower announced in the Company's Half Year and Second Quarter results that the dividend for the second quarter ended 30 September 2004 was 4.95 pence per ordinary share. The dividend will be payable on 29 December 2004 to shareholders on the register on 19 November 2004.
• ScottishPower's PPM to Add 175 MW of Windpower After PTC Ruling 5 October 2004 ScottishPower today announced that its US competitive subsidiary, PPM Energy (PPM), is planning to build two new windfarms generating a combined 175 MW following approval of the Production Tax Credit in Congress.
• ScottishPower - Trading Update September 2004 29 September 2004 ScottishPower will shortly be meeting with analysts ahead of entering our close period for the half-year ending 30 September 2004. At these meetings we will confirm that we continue to make good progress with our strategy of improving operational performance and investing for organic growth. The outlook for the full year to 31 March 2005 remains in line with our expectations.
• ScottishPower Adds 200 MW with Brighton Plant Purchase 28 September 2004 ScottishPower is pleased to announce the purchase of the remaining 50% of Brighton Power Station.
• ScottishPower Raises Prices, Extends Capped Offer 17 September 2004 ScottishPower today announced increased gas and electricity prices plus an extension of its capped price offer which allows customers to keep prices at current levels until January 2006.
• ScottishPower's PacifiCorp Awarded $9.25 Million Increase in Wyoming Pass-on Request 16 September 2004 ScottishPower announces that on 14 September 2004 its PacifiCorp subsidiary was awarded $9.25 million by the Wyoming Public Service Commission related to increased net wholesale purchased power costs following a settlement to PacifiCorp's pass on application.
• Highland Go-Ahead for £25m ScottishPower Windfarm 18 August 2004 Highland Council today (18 August) granted planning permission for ScottishPower's proposed 30MW windfarm at Beinn Tharsuinn near Alness, in Easter Ross.
• 2004/05 1st Quarter Results to 30 June 2004 12 August 2004 This year has started well albeit less strongly than the first quarter of last year. In the UK we gained 250,000 more customers to lift our total to 4.5 million and bought the modern Damhead Creek gas plant at an attractive price to help meet growth in demand. After a slow start, PacifiCorp's performance improved later in the quarter.
• ADS Dividend Declaration 2004/05 1st Quarter 12 August 2004 On 12 August 2004, ScottishPower announced in the Company's first quarter results that the dividend for the quarter ended 30 June 2004 was 4.95 pence per ordinary share.  The dividend will be payable on 28 September 2004 to shareholders on the register on 20 August 2004.
• ScottishPower's PacifiCorp Subsidiary Files General Rate Case Request in Utah for $111 million 5 August 2004 ScottishPower announces that on 4 August 2004 its subsidiary, PacifiCorp, filed a general rate case request with the Utah Public Service Commission for approximately $111 million.
• Analysts' Visit to UK Division 16 June 2004 Scottish Power plc ('ScottishPower') is today holding a site visit for analysts and institutional investors at which an update will be given on developments in ScottishPower's UK Division. No comments will be made on current trading other than to reiterate the pre-close statement released on 27 March 2003 in which ScottishPower confirmed that trading for the year to 31 March 2003 remained in line with expectations.
• ScottishPower Wins International "Edison Award" for Improved Customer Service, Strong Financial Performance 9 June 2004 In recognition of the company's strong operational performance in delivering improved customer service while achieving excellent financial growth, ScottishPower has taken top honors in the international category for the electric power industry's highest honor, the Edison Award.
• ScottishPower announces £400m plan to rewire Scotland 4 June 2004 ScottishPower today announced a £400m plan to upgrade high-voltage transmission lines as part of the Government's initiative to rewire the UK for renewable energy.
• ScottishPower Buys Damhead Creek Power Station 2 June 2004 ScottishPower is pleased to announce the purchase of the 800MW Damhead Creek CCGT power plant and associated contracts, including the benefit of a long-term gas supply agreement, from its creditor banks for approximately £317 million in cash.
• ADS Dividend Declaration - Fourth Quarter 2003/04 25 May 2004 On 25 May 2004, ScottishPower announced in the Company's preliminary results, that the dividend for the fourth quarter ended 31 March 2004 was 6.25 pence per ordinary share. The dividend will be payable on 28 June 2004 to shareholders on the register on 4 June 2004.

• ScottishPower Given Go-ahead for Gas Storage Facility 19 May 2004 ScottishPower has been granted planning permission by the Government to build a £100m underground natural gas storage facility that will help the UK meet future demand as gas imports rise.
• ScottishPower's PacifiCorp Identifies New Plant Resource 10 May 2004 ScottishPower's US regulated subsidiary, PacifiCorp, today announced it has approved  the development and construction of a new 534 MW natural gas-fired combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) generation plant.
• Stock Exchange Announcement re Redemption of Special Share 5 May 2004 Scottish Power plc confirms that it has received notice from the Secretary of State for Scotland of the redemption of its £1 special share, as announced by the Department of Trade and Industry earlier today. The special share was created at the time of privatisation, along with a limit, contained in the Company's Articles of Association, of 15% on the number of ordinary Scottish Power plc shares which could be held by any person. The effect of the special share was to prevent any change to the 15% limit without the consent of the Secretary of State.
• ScottishPower Appoints Two Non-executive Directors 29 April 2004 ScottishPower is today pleased to announce the appointment of two non-executive directors whose combined experience ranges widely across US business, government and community affairs.

• ScottishPower Wins Approval for Major US Power Plant 8 March 2004 ScottishPower's PacifiCorp subsidiary has been granted approval by the Utah Public Service Commission (UPSC) to begin construction of a new 525 MW gas-fired power plant, 75 miles south of Salt Lake City.
• ScottishPower's PacifiCorp Granted $23 Million in Wyoming General Rate Case 3 March 2004 ScottishPower today announces that on 2 March the Wyoming Public Service Commission (WPSC) granted approximately $23 million of additional annual revenues to its PacifiCorp subsidiary.
• Work Finished at Latest ScottishPower Windfarm 27 February 2004 ScottishPower has announced the completion of the 35 turbine Cruach Mhor windfarm in Argyll. The final turbine was erected today bringing on 30MW of green energy, enough to power over 17,000 homes.
• ScottishPower Wins Approval for Biggest UK Windfarm 13 February 2004 ScottishPower has been granted planning permission by the Scottish Executive for a 143MW, 62 turbine windfarm around 20 miles west of Edinburgh. The Black Law project - the largest onshore windfarm in the UK approved to date will start generating power in spring 2005.
• 2003/04 Nine Month Results including 3rd Quarter to 31 December 2003 4 February 2004 Following another good quarter, earnings per share* for the year to date are up 9%, driven by our strategy of delivering continued operational improvements and additional returns from our investment programme. 
• ADS Dividend Declaration - Third Quarter 2003-2004 4 February 2004 On 4 February 2004, ScottishPower announced in the Company's third quarter results, that the dividend for the third quarter ended 31 December 2003 was 4.75 pence per ordinary share.  The dividend will be payable on 15 March 2004 to shareholders on the register on 13 February 2004.
• Regulatory Approval 14 January 2004 On 17 November 2003 ScottishPower made an announcement regarding termination of the Peterhead and Hydro Agreements, subject to certain regulatory approvals.  ScottishPower is pleased to announce that all the necessary approvals referred to in the 17 November announcement have now been obtained and consequently we can confirm that the Peterhead and Hydro Agreements will end on 1^st April 2005.
